Bengaluru, India Employment Type: Full-Time Role Overview As a Cloud Engineer at Klugsys, you will be responsible for designing, building, monitoring, and optimizing the core AWS infrastructure that powers Hayy.AI. You will work closely with our backend, AI/ML, and DevOps teams to ensure scalability, high availability, and cost-efficient operation across multiple microservices and data pipelines. This role is ideal for someone who has hands-on AWS experience, strong automation skills, and thrives in a fast-paced startup environment. Key Responsibilities Design, deploy, and manage scalable AWS infrastructure supporting Hayy.AI microservices, AI agents, and real-time processing. Work extensively with? EC2, ECS (Fargate/EC2), Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, API Gateway, CloudFront, SNS/SQS, Kinesis Firehose, Glue, Athena , and other AWS services. Implement secure and efficient? CI/CD pipelines ?using GitHub Actions. Automate deployments and environment setups using? Terraform ?(IaC). Manage containerization workflows using? Docker ?and orchestrate deployments on ECS. Set up monitoring, logging, and observability using? CloudWatch , Grafana/Prometheus (optional), X-Ray, and AWS dashboards. Optimize infrastructure for performance, cost, and reliability, with a strong focus on reducing operational overhead. Manage IAM roles, permission boundaries, multi-account structure (Structure for Klugsys/Hayytek), and secure access controls. Support real-time ingestion pipelines for property data, streaming APIs, and AI services. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, production incidents, and performance bottlenecks. Collaborate with security teams to ensure systems are compliant with GDPR, PDPL, and internal security policies. Participate in architecture discussions and support scaling strategy for Hayy.AI?s agentic AI workflows. Required Skills & Experience Technical Requirements (Must Have): 3?5 years of experience in? AWS cloud engineering or DevOps roles . Strong understanding of AWS architecture and services (Compute, Networking, Storage, Databases, Serverless). Hands-on experience with: EC2/ECS Lambda API Gateway DynamoDB / RDS S3 SNS/SQS Kinesis / Firehose VPC, Subnets, Security Groups Strong proficiency in? Terraform ?(IaC) including modules, state management, policy as code. Experience with? Docker ?& microservices deployments. Good understanding of? CI/CD ?(GitHub Actions preferred). Hands-on experience with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Logs Insights). Ability to troubleshoot networking, deployment, and performance issues. Bonus Skills (Good to Have): Experience with event-driven architectures & streaming systems (Kafka/Kinesis). Prior exposure to AI/ML workflows on cloud (Bedrock, SageMaker, or custom models). Experience with multi-region or multi-account AWS setups. Basic understanding of backend languages (Node.js or Python). Familiarity with security best practices (IAM, policies, secret management). Soft Skills Strong ownership mindset and ability to operate independently. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. High adaptability to shifting priorities in a startup environment.
