Role Overview

You'll architect, deploy, and optimize Deccan AI's cloud environment — balancing performance, cost, and security. You'll work closely with DevOps and Security to ensure infrastructure decisions scale with the business.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure cloud architecture (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Manage compute, storage, networking, and database resources
• Optimize cloud costs through right-sizing, reserved instances, and usage analysis
• Set up high-availability and disaster recovery architecture
• Configure VPCs, load balancers, and networking components
• Partner with DevOps/Security to enforce infra best practices
• Evaluate and integrate new cloud services as the company's needs grow

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role
• Deep knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (AWS preferred)
• Experience with networking fundamentals (VPCs, subnets, DNS, load balancing)
• Familiarity with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Understanding of cost optimization strategies
• Strong troubleshooting and system design skills

Nice to Have

• Multi-cloud experience
• Experience supporting AI/ML workloads (GPU provisioning, data pipelines)
• Cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Architect)
