Job Title: Cloud Engineer

The Purpose of the Role

As a Software Engineer for Brokerage Recordkeeping Technology (BRT), you will play a key role in designing, developing, and enhancing next-generation distributed and transaction-based applications within Tax System. Working within an Agile environment, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions that support both internal and client-facing business systems. Your contributions will help modernize platforms, improve application performance, and enable seamless digital experiences.

Success in this role requires strong technical expertise combined with effective collaboration and problem-solving skills, including:

• Strong Java, Spring, Spring Boot & Cloud (AWS) serverless and container based EKS applications development experience in enterprise environments.
• Expertise with Spring technologies, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.
• Experience building frameworks and platforms for high-volume transactional and data-processing applications.
• Strong understanding of Agile practices, including Scrum, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality deliverables.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across distributed teams.
• Experience working effectively within onshore-offshore delivery models.
  
  

Expertise We Are Looking For

Preferred Qualifications

We are seeking an experienced software engineer with a strong foundation in modern application development and distributed systems. Preferred qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Hands-on experience developing applications using Java EE and the Spring Framework.
• Strong Oracle database expertise, including writing stored procedures, complex SQL queries, and triggers.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and modern application design patterns.
• Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs and working with JSON-based integrations.
• Familiarity with technologies and frameworks supporting scalable, service-oriented applications.
• Experience within investment management, financial services, brokerage, or related regulated industries is highly preferred.

The Expertise we’re looking for

Education And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar subject.
• 3 – 5 years of experience in information technology.
• Financial services experience, preferably in Brokerage Domain.
• Certification in relevant technologies is preferred

Operating Systems : Unix/Linux and shell scripting (optional)

Languages : Java 1.7/J2EE (mandatory)

Core Spring (mandatory)

Spring Boot (mandatory)

REST Web Services (mandatory)

Node

Cloud Platform :Hands-on experience in developing Cloud Native applications. Working experience on any of the cloud platforms viz. AWS(mandatory)

Application Server : Tomcat/TC Server

Databases : Good understanding and experience on RDBMS (mandatory)

Methodology : Agile

Others : Exposure to UI technologies is a plus

Prior experience on large scale IT Transformational Projects (Migration, Modernization) is plus

Shift timings: 11:00 am - 8:00pm
