Job Title: Cloud Data Engineer

Experience Level: 5 - 10 yearsLocation: Hyderabad

Qualification: BTech/MTech/MCA

Mode of Work: Hybrid

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Data Engineer with deep expertise in Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance systems. The candidate must be design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines in a cloud environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in AWS-based ETL development, Python programming, and database performance optimization, along with a solid understanding of modern ETL/ELT architecture and infrastructure automation.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS Glue and Python.
Architect and implement efficient data pipeline workflows for ingesting, transforming, and loading large-scale datasets.
Work with PostgreSQL / Aurora databases to manage data storage, transformation, and querying.
Optimize ETL jobs and database queries to improve performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud resources.
Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and application teams to deliver reliable data solutions.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve pipeline reliability and scalability.
Follow best practices for data governance, security, and performance in cloud environments.

Requirements

Hands-on experience with AWS Glue for ETL pipeline development.
Strong programming experience in Python 3.x.
Solid experience working with PostgreSQL and/or Amazon Aurora databases.
Deep understanding of ETL/ELT design patterns and pipeline architecture.
Experience with job performance tuning and SQL query optimization.
Experience using Terraform for cloud infrastructure automation.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
