Job Description

Cloud Architect (EKS\AKS) Kubernetes Architect with expertise in Amazon EKS, Azure AKS, and Terraform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing containerized workloads in cloud-native environments. They will play a critical role in automating infrastructure, optimizing Kubernetes clusters, and ensuring scalability, security, and reliability. Key Responsibilities: Kubernetes Management: Deploy, configure, and manage Amazon EKS and Azure AKS clusters for high availability and scalability. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design and maintain infrastructure automation using Terraform. CI/CD Integration: Work with DevOps teams to integrate Kubernetes deployments with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps). Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices in Kubernetes environments, including RBAC, IAM, and network policies. Monitoring & Logging: Configure and maintain monitoring solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, etc.) for cluster health and performance. Networking & Load Balancing: Configure service networking, ingress controllers, and load balancers within Kubernetes clusters. Scripting & Automation: Develop scripts (Python, Bash, or Go) for operational automation. Troubleshooting & Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, scaling issues, and service failures. Documentation & Collaboration: Maintain clear technical documentation and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Required Skills & Qualifications: 8-12 years of experience in cloud-native technologies and DevOps practices. Hands-on experience with Amazon EKS and Azure AKS (design, deployment, and management). Strong experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation. Proficiency in Kubernetes concepts (Pods, Deployments, Services, Helm, Operators, etc.). Experience with containerization tools (Docker, ContainerD, or similar). Strong knowledge of networking in Kubernetes, including CNI plugins, Ingress controllers, and DNS management. Experience with monitoring/logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, ELK Stack. Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or ArgoCD). Proficiency in scripting with Bash, Python, or Go. Experience in security best practices, RBAC, IAM roles, and compliance standards. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD, or CKS). Experience with GitOps tools like ArgoCD or Flux. Hands-on experience with multi-cloud strategies (AWS & Azure).
