Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect with deep expertise in AWS cloud

infrastructure, CI/CD automation, configuration management, security operations

(SecOps), and Cost optimization. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and

oversee scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud environments that accelerate product

delivery and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities


Strategic Leadership:

  • Define and drive a comprehensive Cloud strategy that is aligned with the
  • organization’s vision and objectives.
  • Develop strategies for enhancing developer productivity & efficiency.
  • Champion security & compliance (DevSecOps).
  • Develop strategy for reliability & observability at Scale.
  • Foster a Culture of Continuous Improvement.
  • Optimize Costs & Resource Utilization (FinOps).
  • Cross-Functional collaboration & stakeholder engagement.


  • Cloud Architecture & Design:
  • Design, document, and implement secure, scalable, and resilient AWS cloud
  • architectures.
  • Define cloud adoption strategies, modernization roadmaps, and migration plans
  • from on-prem to cloud.
  • Ensure alignment with business continuity, compliance, and performance
  • requirements.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Architect and manage infrastructure automation
  • using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK.
  • Implement version-controlled, reusable, and modular IaC templates.

CI/CD & DevOps Integration:

  • Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI,
  • or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Automate build, test, and deployment workflows for applications and
  • infrastructure.
  • Champion best practices for release management and continuous delivery.

Configuration Management:

  • Implement and maintain configuration management using Ansible, Chef, or
  • Puppet.
  • Enforce consistent environment provisioning across development, staging, and
  • production.
  • Security & Compliance (SecOps):
  • Integrate security-as-code practices and automated compliance checks into
  • pipelines.
  • Manage IAM policies, roles, and identity federation following least-privilege
  • principles.
  • Collaborate with security teams for threat modeling, vulnerability management,
  • and incident response.
  • Ensure compliance with standards such as ISO 27001, SOC2, and GDPR.
  • FinOps (Cloud Cost Optimization):
  • Analyze and optimize AWS resource utilization and spending.
  • Implement cost governance, tagging strategies, and budgeting alerts.
  • Partner with finance teams for forecasting, chargebacks, and cost visibility
  • dashboards.
  • Define observability frameworks using CloudWatch, Datadog, or
  • Prometheus/Grafana.
  • Drive reliability engineering practices for uptime, scalability, and fault tolerance.


Collaboration & Leadership:

  • Work closely with engineering, product, and operations teams to define cloud
  • standards and guardrails.
  • Mentor DevOps and development teams on best practices in automation,
  • security, and cloud operations.s
  • Required Skills & Experience
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, or
  • equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 12+ years in cloud infrastructure or DevOps roles, with at least 6 years as
  • an AWS Architect.
  • Certifications (Preferred):
  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Speciality,
  • AWS Certified Security – Specialty.

Technical Skills

  • Cloud Platform: AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, EKS, ECS, CloudFront, CloudFormation,
  • CloudWatch)
  • CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, ArgoCD
  • IaC & Config Management: Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, AWS CDK
  • SecOps: IAM, AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, Inspector, AWS Config, KMS, WAF
  • FinOps: AWS Cost Explorer, Budgets, CloudHealth, CloudCheckr
  • Monitoring: Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack
  • Alerting: Pagerduty, Victorops, Opsgenie
  • Scripting: Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • Soft Skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
  • Passion for automation, scalability, and operational excellence.
  • Ability to lead technical discussions and influence architecture decisions.
