Summary role description: Hiring a Cloud solution Architect for a US-based InsurTech SaaS leader providing end-to-end digital solutions for Life Insurance. Company description: Our client is a US HQ, venture-funded, tenured provider of the InsurTech SaaS platform which offers a suite of software products for the Life Insurance and Annuities industry. Their products suite covers the life insurance ecosystem and business life cycle end to end, offering high-end digital solutions to carriers, their policyholders, and their sales personnel, helping insurance carriers improve customer retention, increase sales, and streamline operations. They have been recognized for their innovation and industry leadership. Role details: Title / Designation: Cloud solution Architect Location: Hyderabad Reporting Manager: Chief Technical Officer Role & responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud architectures on AWS using services such as EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, and RDS. Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub, Spinnaker, and Helm for efficient, automated, and reliable deployments. Establish and enforce AWS security best practices, including IAM management, encryption, and container security protocols. Implement observability frameworks using CloudWatch and New Relic to monitor system health, performance, and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams across product, delivery, and data to align cloud infrastructure with business objectives and operational goals. Mentor DevOps and engineering teams, driving continuous improvement initiatives in cost optimization, process automation, and performance tuning. Candidate requirements: Minimum 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering roles with strong hands-on AWS experience. Proven expertise in AWS services such as EC2, ECS, EKS, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, and related technologies. Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Groovy, or Bash. Strong experience in CI/CD tools and practices such as Jenkins, Spinnaker, and ArgoCD. Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation. Deep knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) with excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills in an Agile environment.
