Clinical Data Coordinator (Intern)

Role Description

We are looking for a motivated Intern to support our endoscopy team in building a high-quality

medical data repository. In this role, you will act as a field-bridge, coordinating between HTIC

and multiple partner hospitals to ensure the smooth, ethical collection of video data. This is a

hands-on role perfect for someone who enjoys a mix of clinical environment interaction and

technical data organization

Key Responsibilities (Internship Level)

● Multi-Hospital Coordination: Assist in managing daily data collection workflows across

multiple partner hospitals. You may visit sites to ensure video recording and transfer

protocols are being followed.

● Ethics Support: Help prepare documentation for Institutional Review Board (IRB) and

Ethics Committee (EC) submissions. You will learn to navigate the regulatory requirements

for clinical data.

● Data Handling: Coordinate the secure transfer of endoscopy videos from hospital units to

the HTIC repository, ensuring files are correctly named and de-identified.

● Preliminary Curation: Perform initial quality checks on collected videos to ensure they are

clear and usable for our research pipeline.

What We Are Looking For

● Communication: Ability to interact professionally with hospital staff and doctors across

different locations.

● Basic Regulatory Awareness: A foundational understanding of (or strong interest in)

clinical ethics and IRB processes.

● Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, Clinical Research, or a related field
