Job Description

Client Engagement Manager

New York (Hybrid - 3 days in)

$145,000 – $165,000 + discretionary bonus

Benefits: 401k, Health Insurance, Life Insurance, 15 days holiday, Potential equity options

Own and grow a fast-scaling North American client base in a quant fintech, with real influence over clients, product, and future team build-out.

  • Are you stuck between being “technical” and “client-facing” without really using both?
  • Do you end up firefighting client issues instead of actually owning and improving accounts?
  • Are you close to the product but have no real input into how it evolves?
  • Do you want more exposure to clients, but without being pushed into pure sales?

This role sits right in that gap. You’ll own client relationships across North America, handling everything from day-to-day queries through to proactive account development.

You’ll work closely with product, data, and sales, feeding real client use cases back into the platform while helping clients get tangible value from it.

It’s hands-on, but with clear scope to grow into something bigger as the client base expands.

Why You’ll Love It Here

  • Direct ownership of a growing North American client base
  • Real input into product development through client feedback loops
  • Flat structure with access to senior leadership and product teams
  • Clear path to build and lead a team as the function scales
  • Broad exposure across asset managers, hedge funds, and asset owners

Day to Day

You’ll spend your time managing and growing existing client relationships responding to queries, resolving issues, and running proactive account reviews to identify opportunities.

That ranges from troubleshooting risk outputs and onboarding strategies, through to delivering demos and guiding clients on how to use the platform effectively.

Alongside this, you’ll work closely with product and data teams to relay client needs and shape what gets built next.

The role is hands-on and varied, and your impact shows up directly in client retention, growth, and overall experience.

What You’ll Need

  • 5+ years’ experience as a quant product specialist
  • Strong understanding of factor models, factor investing, and derivatives
  • Basic to intermediate Python skills (ability to read and troubleshoot code)
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to clients
  • Solid understanding of financial markets with a strong mathematical background
