Role Description The Civil Head is a full-time, on-site role based in Dera Bassi, responsible for leading and managing civil engineering and construction activities within the organization. This role oversees project planning, design review, resource allocation, and execution of civil infrastructure projects to ensure quality, safety, and timely delivery. The Civil Head coordinates with internal teams, contractors, and clients, monitors site progress, addresses technical issues, and ensures compliance with relevant codes and regulations. Daily responsibilities include supervising site engineers and supervisors, reviewing drawings and estimates, managing budgets and timelines, and preparing project reports and documentation. The role also involves supporting business development efforts, contributing to process improvement, and promoting best practices in civil engineering and construction management.

Qualifications

• Strong civil engineering and construction management skills, including project planning, structural design understanding, site supervision, and quality control.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and specifications, preparing estimates, and using basic civil engineering software and tools.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities, with experience guiding site teams, coordinating with contractors, and handling on-site challenges.
• Solid knowledge of safety standards, building codes, regulatory compliance, and best practices in civil infrastructure development.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal departments.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and a focus on deadlines and deliverables.
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.
• Relevant experience in civil construction or infrastructure projects; prior experience in a leadership or head-of-department role is an advantage.
• Willingness to work on-site in Dera Bassi and visit project locations.
