We are a fast-growing portfolio company backed by Hillhouse Capital, a leading global investment firm known for building long-term, category-defining businesses across technology, healthcare, consumer, and financial services.

As we enter our next phase of scale and operational maturity, we are seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to partner closely with the CEO and Board to drive execution excellence, organizational scalability, and sustainable growth.

The COO will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, translating strategic priorities into executable plans, and building the operational infrastructure required for a high-performance, globally distributed organization. This role is ideal for a hands-on operator with strong strategic judgment, process discipline, and experience scaling complex businesses.

• Lead and optimize all core operational functions, including business operations, process management, internal controls, and cross-functional execution
• Partner with the CEO to translate company strategy into clear operational roadmaps, KPIs, and execution plans
• Build scalable operating systems, workflows, and governance frameworks to support rapid growth
• Drive organizational effectiveness, including goal-setting, performance management, and leadership alignment
• Oversee budget execution, resource allocation, and operational efficiency initiatives
• Establish strong risk management, compliance, and internal control practices (in collaboration with Finance and Legal)
• Act as a key liaison between management, the Board, and Hillhouse Capital as needed
• Support M&A integration, new business launches, and international expansion initiatives when applicable

• 12+ years of progressive experience in operations, general management, or senior leadership roles
• Prior experience as a COO, Head of Operations, or equivalent senior role in a high-growth, PE-backed, or platform-based company preferred
• Strong understanding of operational scaling, process design, and execution management
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a remote or global environment
• Strategic thinker with a strong execution mindset and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and executive presence
• Experience working with boards and institutional investors is a strong plus
