Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead enterprise technology strategy, digital transformation, IT operations, and SAP governance across the organization.

The role demands a technology leader with strong experience in datacenter operations, private/public cloud, managed services, enterprise applications, and SAP landscapes, capable of driving business-aligned technology growth while ensuring operational resilience and governance.

The CIO will work closely with the Board and Executive Leadership Team to drive innovation, operational efficiency, security posture, and revenue-enabling technology initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Technology Strategy

• Define and execute a long-term IT and digital transformation roadmap
• Align technology investments with business growth objectives
• Drive modernization across infrastructure, applications, and enterprise systems
• Establish governance frameworks, architecture standards, and KPIs

SAP & Enterprise Application Leadership

• Oversee SAP landscape (ECC / S4HANA / HEC environments as applicable)
• Drive SAP optimization, integration, upgrades, and performance governance
• Ensure alignment of SAP modules with Finance, SCM, Sales, and Operations
• Manage SAP vendors, system integrators, and AMS partners
• Ensure data integrity, security, and regulatory compliance within ERP systems

Cloud, Datacenter & Infrastructure Governance

• Oversee enterprise IT infrastructure including datacenter, private cloud, and hybrid cloud environments
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity readiness
• Drive infrastructure scalability aligned to growth projections
• Lead cost optimization and capacity planning initiatives

Revenue-Linked Technology Enablement

• Enable technology-driven service offerings and product innovation
• Strengthen integration between IT, Presales, and Delivery teams
• Support enterprise customers with scalable and secure architecture design
• Drive automation and digital initiatives that improve operational margins

Cybersecurity & Risk Management

• Define enterprise cybersecurity architecture and risk governance
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, industry, and audit requirements
• Lead incident response governance and resilience planning

Operational Excellence & Governance

• Establish ITIL-based operational processes
• Drive service quality, SLA adherence, and performance monitoring
• Oversee billing system integration, revenue assurance, and enterprise reporting

Financial & Vendor Management

• Own IT budgeting, ROI tracking, and cost control
• Evaluate and manage strategic technology partnerships
• Negotiate enterprise-level vendor contracts

Leadership & Organizational Development

• Build and mentor high-performing IT, SAP, Infrastructure, and Security teams
• Drive accountability, performance management, and succession planning
• Foster innovation and cross-functional collaboration

Required Experience

• 20+ years of progressive IT leadership experience
• Strong exposure to SAP environments (ECC / S4HANA / HEC preferred)
• Experience managing enterprise infrastructure and cloud ecosystems
• Proven track record in digital transformation and operational stabilization
• Experience supporting large enterprise customers (BFSI, Manufacturing, Government, etc.)
• Strong understanding of datacenter operations, managed services, and cloud platforms

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline
• MBA or advanced management degree preferred
• SAP, Cloud, or IT Governance certifications are advantageous
