Job Description
The CHRO will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for driving the overall people strategy aligned with the organization’s business goals. This role will lead the transformation of the HR function into a strategic business partner, enabling growth, building a high-performance culture, and strengthening organizational capability in a dynamic FMCG environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic HR Leadership
- Develop and execute the overall HR strategy aligned with business objectives and growth plans
- Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO and leadership team on organizational design, workforce planning, and culture
- Drive HR transformation initiatives to support scale, agility, and operational excellence
2. Talent Management & Leadership Development
- Build a robust talent pipeline across functions including sales, marketing, supply chain, and manufacturing
- Design and implement leadership development and succession planning frameworks
- Strengthen employer branding to attract top talent in a competitive FMCG landscape
3. Organizational Design & Culture
- Lead organization structuring and capability building initiatives
- Foster a high-performance, meritocratic, and inclusive culture
- Drive employee engagement and retention strategies across corporate and frontline workforce
4. Performance & Rewards
- Design and implement performance management systems aligned with business outcomes
- Lead compensation & benefits strategy ensuring competitiveness and internal equity
- Drive variable pay, incentives, and sales performance structures
5. HR Operations & Governance
- Oversee HR operations including HRMS, payroll, compliance, and policies
- Ensure adherence to labor laws and statutory compliance across locations
- Leverage HR analytics and data-driven insights for decision-making
6. Change Management & Transformation
- Lead change management initiatives during business expansion, restructuring, or M&A
- Build organizational readiness for digital transformation and new ways of working
Candidate Profile
- Experience: 15–22 years in HR, with significant experience in FMCG / consumer sector
- Proven track record in leading HR at a leadership level (HR Head / CHRO / HR Director)
- Strong exposure to both corporate and frontline workforce (sales/distribution/manufacturing)
- Experience in high-growth or transformation environments preferred
