Company Description Shri Godham Mahatirth Pathmeda is a public charitable trust dedicated to the protection, shelter, and care of abandoned, injured, sick, and elderly cows. Founded in 1993 at Anandavan Pathmeda in Sanchore, Rajasthan, under the guidance of Goऋषि Swami Shri Dattasharnanand ji, the organization now operates more than 65 goshalas across Rajasthan and Gujarat. These centers provide food, veterinary treatment, and safe shelter to tens of thousands of cows in need. The trust is formally registered, holds 80G and 12AA certifications, and also runs Vedlakshana, a line of Panchgavya-based organic products. Shri Godham Mahatirth Pathmeda is recognized as an NGO (ID: RJ/2021/0278949) and is committed to ethical, transparent, and impact-driven operations.


Role Description The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will oversee all financial activities of Shri Godham Mahatirth Pathmeda and ensure sound financial management in alignment with the organization’s charitable mission. This full-time, on-site role is based in Sanchore and includes responsibility for budgeting, cash flow management, financial planning, and long-term financial strategy. The CFO will supervise the preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports, maintain compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, and manage relationships with auditors, banks, and funding partners. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring expenditures, optimizing resource allocation, managing risk, establishing internal controls, and supporting transparency in donor reporting and grant management. The CFO will collaborate closely with the trustees and senior leadership team, providing data-driven insights and recommendations to support sustainable growth and operational efficiency.


Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Finance and Financial Planning, with demonstrated ability to develop budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial strategies.
  • Proficiency in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, including compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, assess risk, and support evidence-based decision-making.
  • Experience in treasury management, cash flow optimization, and internal controls within NGOs, trusts, or similar organizations is beneficial.
  • Professional qualification such as CA, CMA, CPA, MBA in Finance, or equivalent is preferred.
  • Proven leadership and team management capabilities, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong ethical orientation, attention to detail, and commitment to transparency and accountability in financial practices.
  • Familiarity with donor reporting, grant management, and Indian charitable trust regulations is an advantage.
