We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer to lead the finance function of our jewellery retail business. The role requires strong expertise in financial reporting, inventory accounting (gold, diamond, bullion), banking relationships, compliance, and working capital management.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Compliance

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure accurate inventory accounting (karat, purity, wastage, valuation).
• Manage audits, GST compliance, MCA regulations, and accounting automation.
• Drive revenue control and monthly P&L reviews with Directors.

Budgeting, MIS & Business Control

• Lead budgeting, forecasting (festive/wedding cycles), and store-wise performance tracking.
• Deliver MIS on margins, inventory turnover, working capital, costing, and payroll.

Cash Flow & Treasury

• Manage banking relationships, CC/OD limits, loan documentation, and covenant compliance.
• Oversee cash flows, receivables, gold procurement payments, and working capital optimisation.

Inventory & Internal Controls

• Supervise stock valuation, audits, barcoding, and loss tracking.
• Design and enforce SOPs across finance, purchase, sales, and payroll.

Taxation & Governance

• Build and monitor a robust compliance framework.
• Ensure timely reporting to Directors and regulatory authorities.

Team Leadership

• Lead accounts, taxation, and MIS teams across HO and branches.
• Ensure timely book closure, reconciliations, and compliance training.

Ideal Profile

• Chartered Accountant with strong retail/jewellery industry experience.
• Proven expertise in bullion accounting, GST, banking, and working capital management.
• Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability.
