About the CompanyOur company is a fast-growing portfolio company backed by Hillhouse Capital, a leading global investment firm known for long-term value creation across technology, healthcare, consumer, and industrial sectors. We are entering a critical stage of scale, operational maturity, and strategic expansion, and are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to partner closely with the executive team and investors.

Role OverviewThe Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the business, including financial strategy, reporting, controls, capital planning, and investor relations. The CFO will act as a strategic advisor to the CEO and Board, ensuring financial discipline, transparency, and scalability as the company grows.
This is a U.S.-based remote position, with periodic travel for board meetings and key business reviews as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the company’s overall financial strategy aligned with long-term growth and value creation
- Oversee accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Establish and maintain robust financial controls, compliance, and governance standards
- Partner with the CEO and executive leadership on strategic planning, pricing, and resource allocation
- Manage relationships with investors, auditors, banks, and external advisors
- Support fundraising activities, capital structure planning, and M&A initiatives as applicable
- Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing finance and accounting team
- Provide timely, accurate financial insights to the Board and Hillhouse Capital stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and relevant regulatory requirements
- 15+ years of progressive experience in finance, including senior leadership roles (CFO, VP Finance, or equivalent)
- Strong background in private equity–backed, venture-backed, or high-growth companies
- Deep expertise in financial planning & analysis (FP&A), accounting, and financial operations
- Proven experience working with Boards, investors, and institutional stakeholders
- Track record of scaling finance functions and supporting rapid organizational growth
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP; IPO, M&A, or international experience is a plus
- CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred
- Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills
