Job Description
Megathil is hiring for one of its premium clients for the position of Chief Accountant.
Location: Oragadam, Chennai.
Work Type: On-Site
Salary: Up to ₹38,000 per month
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Handle statutory compliances – Income Tax, GST, PF, and TDS filings & returns
• Coordinate with auditors for balance sheet finalization
• Manage cash flow and bank transactions
• Handle supplier payments, salary processing, rent payments, and invoicing
• Raise debit notes for key accounts
• Negotiate with vendors for office supplies, maintenance, and travel
• Support management with other accounting and finance-related tasks
Requirements:
• 5–10 years of accounting experience
• Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP
• Good communication skills
• Hands-on experience in end-to-end accounting (Record to Report)
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Ability to work independently
• Candidates residing near Oragadam will be preferred
