Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Vapi for a Chemical Sales and Service Engineer. The purpose of this role is to manage the sales process from acquiring new clients to servicing their chemical requirements. The daily responsibilities will include building and maintaining relationships with clients, understanding customer needs, designing tailored chemical treatment solutions, performing site inspections, and providing after-sales support. The engineer will also work to ensure that customer operations comply with environmental regulations and enhance positive client experiences.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in water treatment processes such as ZLD, effluent treatment, recycling, and resource recovery
• Technical proficiency in chemical engineering, chemical selection, and water treatment technologies
• Experience in sales strategy, client acquisition, and customer relationship management
• Ability to perform site assessments and provide technical recommendations specific to client requirements
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to interact with clients and cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with environmental science, compliance, and relevant regulatory practices
• Proficiency in technical tools or software used in water treatment engineering
• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a relevant field
• Previous experience in chemical sales and technical support is a plus
• Willingness to work on-site and travel to customer locations as needed
