Role Description The Chef at Dietado will be responsible for planning, preparing, and presenting meals that align with the company’s nutritional and quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include designing menus, coordinating with kitchen staff, managing food preparation, and ensuring that dishes are consistently executed to specification. The Chef will oversee ingredient selection, portioning, and food safety practices, while maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kochi, requiring close collaboration with the operations team and regular interaction with service staff to deliver an excellent dining experience.


Qualifications

  • Culinary training or professional experience in a commercial kitchen, including experience with menu planning and food preparation.
  • Strong knowledge of nutrition, dietary requirements, and balanced meal planning to support Dietado’s health-focused offerings.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen organization.
  • Experience supervising or coordinating kitchen staff, with strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing customer needs.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Kochi, with flexibility for shift-based schedules, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Formal culinary education, certification in food safety, or prior experience in health-focused or specialty cuisine establishments is beneficial.
