Role Description The Chat Support role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. In this role, the team member will respond to customer queries via chat platforms, provide product information, assist with order placement, and support customers with returns, exchanges, and general service issues. The role includes troubleshooting basic technical or account-related problems, documenting customer interactions, and escalating complex issues to the appropriate internal teams. Day-to-day responsibilities also involve maintaining a professional and empathetic tone, meeting response time and quality targets, and sharing insights from customer interactions to help improve overall service and online shopping experience.
Qualifications

Qualifications
- Customer support skills, including Customer Support and Communication, to handle inquiries clearly, professionally, and empathetically.
- Technical capabilities, such as Technical Support and Troubleshooting, to resolve basic platform, order, and account-related issues.
- Analytical Skills to interpret customer concerns, identify patterns, and provide feedback that supports service improvement.
- Strong written English communication skills for accurate, concise, and brand-aligned chat responses.
- Ability to work on-site in Chennai, manage multiple chats simultaneously, and meet defined performance metrics.
- Prior experience in e-commerce, retail, or online customer service is an advantage.
- Comfort using CRM tools, chat software, and standard office applications.
- Minimum educational qualification: high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in any discipline is preferred.
