Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Chartered Accountant to lead and manage the finance and accounting functions of our real estate operations. The role requires strong expertise in project accounting, financial control, taxation, and regulatory compliance, along with the ability to support business decision-making through financial insights.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management

Oversee end-to-end accounting and financial operations of real estate projects
Ensure accurate maintenance of books of accounts and financial records
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

Project & Cost Control

Monitor project budgets, cost tracking, and financial performance
Manage project cash flow planning and fund utilization
Work closely with management on financial planning and analysis

Compliance & Taxation

Ensure compliance with GST, Income Tax, TDS, and other statutory requirements
Coordinate with auditors for statutory audit, tax audit, and internal audit
Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements relevant to the real estate sector

Banking & Funding

Manage banking relationships and financial documentation
Handle loan documentation, project funding, and financial reporting to lenders

Team & Coordination

Lead and guide the accounts and finance team
Coordinate with internal departments including sales, legal, and project teams

Candidate Profile

Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
10+ years of relevant experience, preferably in Real Estate / Construction industry
Strong knowledge of project accounting and financial controls
Experience in taxation, audits, and regulatory compliance
Strong analytical and leadership skills
