Job Title: Business Finance Manager

Job Type : Full Time – (Onsite)

Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Business Finance Manager with at least 5-7 years of experience to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, including the preparation of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet), trial balance, and other financial reports. Additionally, a solid understanding of Management Information Systems (MIS) and business finance is required to support key financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation of Financial Statements:

o

Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including Profit and Loss (P&L) Account, Balance Sheet (B/S), and Cash Flow Statements.

o

Ensure accurate and timely preparation of the financial accounts in compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.

o

Oversee the preparation of trial balances, including reconciling general ledger entries and resolving discrepancies.

Business Finance & Reporting:

o

Assist in the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning process.

o

Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas of improvement, supporting senior management in decision-making.

o

Provide insights into financial performance, cost control, and profitability improvement for various business units.

o

Work closely with other departments to ensure alignment with the company’s financial goals.

Management Information Systems (MIS):

o

Manage and produce regular MIS reports that summarize business performance, highlighting key financial and operational metrics.

o

Utilize financial software and MIS tools (e.g., ERP systems, Excel, Power BI) to generate detailed reports for stakeholders.

o

Collaborate with the IT department to optimize reporting systems and ensure that financial data is accurately captured and reflected in MIS reports.

Month-End and Year-End Closing:

o

Ensure the timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing of financial records.

o

Reconcile all accounts (AP, AR, bank, etc.) and prepare for audits.

o

Ensure that all journal entries are recorded and that all financial statements are complete and accurate.

Compliance & Internal Controls:

o

Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and relevant tax laws.

o

Maintain and improve internal controls to safeguard the company’s financial data and assets.

o

Assist in preparing documentation for both internal and external audits.

Taxation & Regulatory Compliance:

o

Assist in tax preparation, including VAT/GST, income tax returns, and other relevant filings.

o

Ensure the company is compliant with tax regulations and deadlines.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education:

o

Chartered Accountant, Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

o

Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) is a plus.

Experience:

o

Minimum 5-7 years of experience in accounting or finance, with specific experience in financial reporting and analysis.

o

Hands-on experience with the preparation of financial accounts, including Trial Balance, P&L Statement, and Balance Sheet.

o

Strong understanding of Business Finance and ability to interpret financial data for decision-making.

o

Proven experience in Management Information Systems (MIS), ERP software, and financial reporting tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).

Preferred Skills:

o

Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced), including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and financial modelling, etc

o

Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other BI/MIS reporting tools.

o

Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.

o

Ability to generate and interpret financial reports (P&L, B/S, trial balance, etc.).

o

Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify trends and variances in financial data.

o

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.

o

Solid understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations.
