The Opportunity
We are seeking a positive, results-driven Channel Account Manager to build and maintain our overall business across the southern region. In this role, you will identify, recruit, and manage distribution partners to accelerate growth across your assigned territory, applying your business development expertise to execute our distribution strategy and drive impact through the broader distribution ecosystem.
The ideal candidate has strong working knowledge of the distribution channel ecosystem (both hardware and software), including stock-and-sell motions and the dynamics of this market segment.
This role requires a natural team player who can build excellent working relationships with internal teams and distributors alike, ensuring smooth liaison and mutually beneficial partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the success of all distribution-led initiatives and the achievement of business objectives fronted by the distribution ecosystem
- Partner with authorized Check Point Distributors to expand partner coverage, capacity, and capability through recruitment, onboarding, sales enablement, and activation
- Drive effective utilization of Distribution Co-op and MDF investments; lead demand generation and partner loyalty programs through distribution
- Build capacity, capability, and coverage across the distribution ecosystem
- Share regional and in-country distribution best practices, liaising closely with Check Point's sales and partner teams
- Coordinate sales and technical workshops on Check Point solutions for distributors and their partners
- Conduct regular reviews of distributor performance and activities to strengthen joint execution, including timely QBRs and monthly business metric updates
Own Distribution-Led Partner Relationships
- Hold overall ownership of distribution-led partners, including revenue and pipeline management
- Manage distributor stock levels (where applicable), delivery timelines, and order cycle control
Maintain Distribution Operational Excellence
- Ensure seamless execution of order management processes, issue resolution, query handling, and fast-tracked order booking
- Liaise with distributors and HQ teams to manage credit lines across the distribution ecosystem
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of overall experience in Channels, including a minimum of 5 years focused on Distribution (both hardware/appliances and software)
- Solid understanding of the stock-and-sell motion for hardware and appliances
- Strong proficiency in English, with excellent written communication skills
- Proven ability to build joint business plans and drive their execution within set timelines
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced business environment
- Strong problem-solving and cross-functional coordination skills
- Meticulous, execution-focused approach to work
- A collaborative team player with excellent relationship-building abilities
