Job Title: Certification & Compliance Engineer? Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat? Department: R&D? Experience: 3?5 years in quality management, product certification, or regulatory compliance.? The Certification & Compliance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the organization?s compliance with international management system standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) as well as obtaining and maintaining product certifications (ATEX, IECEx, CE, FCC, RoHS, etc.). This role works closely with R&D, Production, and Quality teams to integrate compliance requirements from the product design stage through manufacturing and market release.? Key Responsibilities? A. Management Systems (QMS, EMS, OHSMS)? ? Implement, maintain, and continually improve the organization?s ISO-certified management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).? ? Develop and control quality, environmental, and safety documentation.? ? Plan and conduct internal audits; manage corrective and preventive actions.? ? Lead management review meetings and report on compliance performance.? ? Train and raise awareness among employees on management system requirements.? B. Product Certification & Regulatory Compliance? ? Plan, execute, and manage product certification projects (ATEX, IECEx, CE, FCC, RoHS, UL, etc.).? ? Coordinate with external testing laboratories, notified bodies, and regulatory agencies.? ? Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including test reports, risk assessments, and technical files.? ? Ensure all products meet applicable international and regional compliance requirements.? ? Track certification renewals and regulatory changes.? C. Cross-Functional Support & Improvement? ? Support R&D and engineering teams in integrating compliance requirements during design and development.? ? Monitor industry trends and regulatory updates to maintain competitive compliance.? ? Recommend and implement process improvements to reduce non-conformities and enhance compliance readiness.
