Job Summary
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Oversees all fiscal aspects of the Center as well as provides oversight over various departments as assigned.
Prepares and submits plans and reports. Receives and distributes change notices and controls and generates
Center operating procedures. Supervises assigned personnel.
Job Duties
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Oversees operations and quality control for the Center's food service, finance, and property maintenance
departments.
• Responsible for the financial and administrative operations of the Center including banking, accounting
functions, payroll, budget preparation, and information technology needs.
• Creates and monitors the Center's financial management plan and budget including short-term, longterm, strategic, and tactical goals.
• Works closely with the Center Director, Corporate Finance, and the department managers to monitor the
financial budget and ensure it aligns with the Center's approved contract with the Department of Labor
(DOL).
• Monitors accurate and timely recording of all financial information including cash receipts and
disbursements, accounts payable and receivable, payroll and benefits, journal entries and the general
ledger.
• Manages all aspects of the financial audit process.
• Provides information for DOL, Corporate, or other Center reviews as requested.
• Interfaces with the Center's Finance Committee and attends committee meetings as assigned.
• Establishes and maintains contact with financial institutions and provides information as requested.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY
• Performs work under minimal supervision.
• Handles complex issues and problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.
• Possesses comprehensive knowledge of subject matter.
• Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in Accounting or Business Administration; or equivalent
combination of education and experience.
• An additional three (3) years of related experience is required.

Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel
and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally
required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities
required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
• Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets
the requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating.
• Must possess or maintain CPR and First Aid Certification within 90 days of hire and maintain through duration
of employment.
Other Requirements
The employee must not be and will not be under sanction by the United States Department of Health and
Human Services Office of the Inspector General (OIG) or by the General Services Administration (GSA) or listed
on the OIG's Cumulative Sanction Report, or the GSA's List of Excluded Providers, or listed on the OIG's List of
Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE).
Required to meet and maintain periodic background investigation and adjudication for childcare.
