Role Description
The role of Catering Event Manager at The Red Box is a full-time, on-site position located in Chennai. The Catering Event Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of catering events. Responsibilities include delivering outstanding customer service, managing event logistics, collaborating with clients to meet their needs, promoting catering sales, and ensuring high standards of food service. The role requires ensuring smooth operations, building client relationships, and maintaining the brand's reputation for excellence.
Location: Multiple Cities (Travel Required)
Salary: ₹30,000/month (Based on Skills & Experience)
Experience Required: Minimum 3+ Years
Key Responsibilities
Plan and manage ODC (Outdoor Catering) events and hotel-based catering events.
Coordinate with clients to understand event requirements, menus, and service expectations.
Manage event setup, food service operations, and logistics.
Supervise catering staff and ensure high service standards.
Work closely with chefs, vendors, and event teams.
Ensure timely delivery and quality of food and service.
Handle multiple events across different cities when required.
Monitor budgets and control event costs.
Requirements- Minimum 3+ years of experience in catering, hotel ODC, or event management.
- Experience in handling large-scale catering events.
- Strong organizational and team management skills.
- Ability to handle event logistics and client coordination.
- Willingness to travel to multiple cities for events.
- Ability to work under pressure during event schedules.
- Diploma / Degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or Event Management preferred.
- Good communication and client handling skills.
- Hindi speaking is an added advantage.
