About the Role

We are looking for a Category Account Management professional to drive the growth and success of a portfolio of sellers within a category. The role involves managing seller relationships, improving business performance, driving assortment expansion, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance customer experience and category growth.


Key Responsibilities (KRAs):


1.Category Expansion

Identify assortment gaps, onboard relevant products, and enhance catalog quality to improve customer selection.

2.Business Growth & Revenue

Drive GMV, orders, and revenue by improving assortment, pricing competitiveness, and promotional participation.

3.Seller Portfolio Management

Own and manage a portfolio of sellers, ensuring business growth, operational excellence, and long-term engagement.

4.Performance & Operational Excellence

Monitor seller KPIs such as fill rate, cancellations, returns, and SLA adherence, and drive continuous improvements.

5.Data-Driven Insights

Analyze category trends, seller performance, and customer demand to recommend actionable growth opportunities.

6.Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with Pricing, Marketing, Catalog, Operations, and Supply teams to execute category initiatives and resolve seller issues.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • 2–6 years of experience in Category Management, Account Management, Vendor Management, or Marketplace Operations within e-commerce or consumer internet companies
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; ability to interpret business metrics and derive actionable insights.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence sellers and internal teams.
  • Self-driven, execution-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
