Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a CAD-CAM Engineer at Micropack Pvt Ltd, located in Mandya. The CAD-CAM Engineer will be responsible for creating, modifying, and optimizing PCB designs using computer-aided design (CAD) and electronic design automation (EDA) tools. Daily tasks include collaborating with mechanical engineers on hardware design, preparing physical design layouts, troubleshooting design issues, and ensuring quality standards are maintained during the manufacturing process. The engineer will also work closely with the prototyping and production teams to support efficient execution and delivery of PCB solutions.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Physical Design and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools
• Strong understanding of Mechanical Engineering principles
• Experience with Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools and software, such as Cadence
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail, particularly in PCB design and manufacturing processes
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams such as engineering and production
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
• Experience in PCB design for high-reliability industries such as defense, aerospace, or medical electronics is a plus
• Strong communication and organizational skills
