Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Buyer Plastic Polymer USA at Polymer In Stock. The Buyer will be responsible for sourcing plastic raw materials, evaluating supplier quality and pricing, negotiating contracts and agreements, and maintaining inventory levels. The role includes monitoring market trends, building strong supplier relationships, and ensuring the materials sourced align with the company’s quality and sustainability standards. This position also involves the execution of purchase orders, cost controls, and collaboration with internal teams to align procurement with business goals.

Qualifications

Experience in procurement and supply chain management
Knowledge of plastic polymers such as LDPE, HDPE, PP, PET, and PC
Strong negotiation and vendor relationship management skills
Analytical skills for evaluating market trends, pricing, and material quality
Familiarity with sustainable material sourcing practices is a plus
Proficiency in ERP software and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Prior experience in the plastics or manufacturing industry is advantageous
