In this role, you’ll play a key part in managing end-to-end purchasing activities - from creating purchase orders and handling logistics to maintaining strong supplier relationships and ensuring smooth coordination with internal teams to meet organizational needs.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Timely issuance of Purchase Orders (POs) to vendors, follow-up for order confirmations, and coordination for on-time supplier payments.
- Coordinate with vendors to track material status for open orders and ensure timely dispatch.
- Ensure on-time completion of Open Purchase Order and Shortage Reports for management review.
- Efficiently and accurately execute core procurement processes for assigned products.
- Meet or exceed defined service levels and inventory targets, validated through procurement metrics.
- Coordinate with internal business partners (requestors) and suppliers for purchase order changes.
- Select suppliers for new orders in accordance with approved purchasing strategies.
- Identify, recommend, and implement operational efficiencies to drive continuous improvement in procurement processes.
- Perform root cause analysis to expedite the resolution of service or delivery issues.
- Conduct foundry capacity analysis and load allocation accordingly.
- Prepare customized reports for process analysis and improvement initiatives.
- Participate in technical discussions internally and with suppliers for first article development.
- Manage shortage/excess escalations, coordinate urgent receipts, and oversee past-due order management.
- Manage suppliers’ third-party warehouse (3PL) in the USA and ensure optimal stocking levels through continuous replenishment.
- Send weekly shipment lists to all suppliers and follow up on delivery schedules.
- Provide shipment modes and logistics instructions to suppliers for items ready for dispatch.
- Provide resolutions for Material Review Board (MRB) non-conformances and receiving challenges.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies and ensure timely supplier payments.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Excellent communication skills (English – conversational level required).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven procurement expertise, including category management, supplier management, sourcing, negotiations, and benchmarking.
- Valid U.S. visa (for training purposes).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a strategic mindset.
- External focus with awareness of market trends and industry innovations.
- Ownership mindset with a drive to deliver high-quality procurement outcomes.
- Strong work ethic with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent professional experience.
- 4–6 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing and Procurement.
