About the role:

We are looking for a strategic, execution-focused transformation leader to shape business strategy, redesign core processes, and deliver high-impact change across functions. You will partner with senior stakeholders to assess the current state, define the path forward, implement smarter ways of working, and drive adoption of new processes, platforms, and AI-enabled solutions.

As Cvent continues to lead the global meetings and events industry, our Business Transformation team plays a critical role in scaling smarter, faster, and more efficiently. We are seeking a high-impact leader who brings sharp business judgment, strong technical fluency, and the ability to build trusted partnerships while driving measurable improvements across Sales, Marketing, and enterprise operations.

In this role, you will own strategic roadmaps and lead complex initiatives spanning process re-engineering, business case development, vendor selection, platform analysis, data migration, operating model design, and system implementation—ideally in a SaaS or high-growth environment.

You will also champion project management discipline, lead global Sales and Marketing transformation programs, and ensure delivery is on time, on budget, and tied to clear business outcomes.

What you will be doing:

  • Shape strategic priorities and transformation roadmaps for Sales, Marketing, and cross-functional business teams.
  • Lead large-scale transformation programs across process redesign, AI-enabled solutions, operating model changes, and business systems.
  • Assess current-state processes, systems, controls, and pain points to identify opportunities for measurable improvement.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to define target operating models, business cases, and investment priorities.
  • Design and implement solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, compliance, scalability, and user experience.
  • Evaluate and support adoption of new technologies, including cloud platforms, enterprise systems, and AI-based solutions.
  • Own project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, status reporting, and executive-level communications.
  • Drive change management, training, and adoption plans to ensure new processes and systems stick.
  • Facilitate cross-functional requirements gathering, solution design, and vendor or consultant coordination.
  • Support Sales and Marketing teams through implementation, issue resolution, and continuous improvement.

What you will need for this position:

  • Master’s degree in business administration or a related field.
  • 13–17 years of experience leading digital transformation, AI-led initiatives, strategic programs, or enterprise process improvement.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, including C-suite leaders, and translate strategy into execution.
  • Track record of delivering cross-functional transformation programs with measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, analytical, and business case development skills.
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies, systems analysis, requirements gathering, and operating model design.
  • Excellent communication, executive presentation, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments and works effectively with high-performing teams.
  • Management consulting, SaaS, Sales Operations, Marketing Operations, or enterprise transformation experience is a plus.
