In this role, you will take full ownership of both demand and supply aspects of the business while ensuring customers have access to the right product selection, competitive pricing, and a seamless shopping experience. Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Drive overall marketplace growth for assigned product categories by balancing customer demand and supplier supply
- Own and manage the P&L for categories, ensuring alignment with revenue, margin, and business objectives
- Develop and execute strategies to improve category performance, selection, pricing, and conversion rates
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brands and suppliers to strengthen partnerships and improve assortment quality
- Plan merchandising strategies, including assortment planning and option planning both pre-season and during the season
- Identify emerging market trends, consumer needs, and category gaps to introduce relevant product offerings
- Coordinate with marketing teams to drive promotional campaigns, visibility initiatives, and user engagement programs
- Work closely with internal teams such as supply chain, product, cataloging, finance, and commercial operations to ensure smooth execution
- Track category performance metrics and use data insights to drive continuous improvements
- Implement strategies to increase active users, transactions, and supplier success within the portfolio
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in business strategy, category management, consulting, or e-commerce operations
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable business strategies
- Experience managing revenue goals, margin performance, and business growth initiatives
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with brands, vendors, or strategic partners
- High ownership mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a track record of identifying innovative solutions to complex business challenges
- Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong execution focus with a bias toward speed and measurable outcomes
- Experience working in startups, high-growth environments, or launching new business initiatives is an advantage
