Business Intelligence Developer
Seattle, WA (3 days onsite in a week)
Fulltime
USC, GC and GC – EAD only
Job Description
BI development experience using Tableau, AWS data services (Redshift, RDS, Athena, Glue).
Expertise in SQL and Data Modeling and experience with relational databases (e.g., Redshift, RDS, Databricks).
Requirements gathering and stakeholder interviews to define Personas, Use cases, metrics, KPIs, and data sources.
Data profiling and assessment of data quality, completeness, and lineage for identified source systems.
Transformation logic creation (ETL/ELT) required to support dashboard metrics.
Development of interactive dashboards in Tableau with role-based views and filters.
Implementation of visualizations for agreed metrics and KPIs.
Basic performance tuning and optimization for dashboard load times.
Documentation: requirements, design, ETL spec, user guide.
Knowledge transfer session(s) for end users.
In addition to having the knowledge required to perform the above activities:
Must have minimum 6 years of Tableau dashboard development.
Must have minimum 10 years of experience with complex data environments including advanced SQL and data modeling.
Track record of leading projects and training others.
Must be proficient in transforming complex data into actionable business insights and troubleshooting issues in analytics pipelines.
Consistently adopt best practices to ensure data accuracy and accountability.
