As a Business Functional Analyst, you will closely work together with business and operation units, Product Owner and development teams and bring business and functional analysis skills into the development team to ensure that the implementation of requirements aligns with our business needs and technical quality standards. You should also be responsible for maintaining lineage across the applications in domain. - You are part of the agile development team, responsible for the functional analysis of epics and user stories in strong collaboration with all stakeholders (e.g. business units, operations, development team, Product Owner)
- You will the primary focus on the functional and technical design and documentation of the user stories in a sprint, working closely with the engineers, ensuring that their implementation aligns with business needs and architecture.
- You would be supporting the product owner and subject matter experts for successful testing and product adoption by business.
- You will maintain data lineage and flow across the applications of the domain and maintain quality which could be provided to audits on very short notice.
- You contribute to team standards, engineering best practices, quality standards and help ensuring that the team meets them.
- You actively participate and contribute into the sprint activities and ceremonies.
- Work and Coordinate with Global Team (Germany, Romania and India)
- Hands-on experience of business & functional process analysis methods and tools including Jira and Confluence with the ability to align functional solution to the target architecture.
- Banking domain knowledge – core banking application (Partnerdata)
- Process and modelling knowledge incl. tools
- Technical understanding of GCP Services, Databases, Software Development lifecycle
- Experience in agile software development as well as unit/integration testing as a standard development practice
- Excellent verbal and written English and strong communication skills with ability to tailor communication to various stakeholders.
- German language skills would be a plus but not a mandate.
- Experience in problem solving
- Pro-active team player with experience in working in an diverse and global acting Agile environment
- Degree in Computer Science, Business or equivalent degree with knowledge of investment business and its operations
