NSEG is a rapidly expanding partner in the logistics sector, dedicated to providing exceptional freight solutions to the Australian market. We currently excel in domestic Australian road freight and are launching a significant new division focused on international freight forwarding (Sea & Air) between Australia and key global trade hubs (India & China). This new offering will include comprehensive services like Custom Clearance, Freight Forwarding, Storage, and Distribution.

We are seeking driven, results-oriented sales professionals to join our team in Ahmedabad to drive growth in the lucrative Australian B2B logistics industry


Job Title: Business Executive

Job Location: Ahmedabad

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Timings: 04:00 AM to 01:00 PM


This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Business Executive to own and grow a portfolio focused entirely on the Australian road, sea, and air freight market. The role requires a strong balance of business development (hunting) and relationship management (farming), with direct accountability for both new client acquisition and recurring business growth.


Please Note: This is an office-based role operating from our Ahmedabad, India facility. You will be required to align your working hours with Australian business hours (AEST/AEDT) to effectively service and communicate with our clientele.


Responsibilities:


1. New Business Acquisition (Hunter)

· Proactive Client Onboarding: Focus intensely on onboarding new clients to the company by selling our core services: Australian domestic road freight and the new international Sea & Air freight forwarding routes (India-Australia, China-Australia).

· Lead Generation: Execute high-volume outbound sales activity, including proactive cold calling and targeted calls on qualified leads.

· Effective Prospecting: Successfully identify and approach the right decision-makers within target companies in the Australian logistics, import, and export industries.

· Needs-Based Selling: Conduct deep-dive discussions (via call, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams) to understand client freight requirements and present tailored logistics solutions, aiming for immediate closure.


2. Client Relationship Management (Farmer)

· Recurring Business: Maintain and grow existing client relationships to secure recurring business and increase revenue from the current Australian road freight client base.

· Account Servicing: Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, ensuring high satisfaction and retention.

· Cross-Selling: Introduce and successfully sell our new international freight forwarding, custom clearance, storage, and distribution services to both new and existing clients.


3. Sales Execution and Reporting

· CRM Management: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all sales activities, pipeline status, and client communications.

· Market Insight: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and changes in the Australian logistics and international trade landscape.


Required Skills and Qualifications :

· Minimum Experience: A minimum of 1 year of proven sales experience in the international market (B2B) is required, preferably within logistics, freight forwarding, or a related service industry.

· Sales Track Record: Proven track record of successful sales, closing customers, and achieving targets in a B2B service environment.

· Relationship Acumen: Demonstrated history of effective accounts relationship and client relationship management leading to retention and growth.

· Logistics Knowledge: Understanding of the freight industry, including road freight, and familiarity with terms related to sea & air freight forwarding, customs, and distribution is highly desirable.

· Communication: Exceptional verbal communication skills, a confident phone presence, and professional proficiency in conducting virtual meetings (Zoom/Teams).

· Location & Hours: Must be willing to work full-time from the Ahmedabad office and align work hours with Australian time zones (AEST/AEDT).
