Role Description The Business Development Manager internship at WeekMate is an on-site role based in Ahmedabad. The intern will support lead generation, qualification, and follow-up with potential clients, focusing on startups and SMEs that can benefit from WeekMate’s platform. Daily responsibilities include researching target markets, preparing outreach lists, conducting initial calls or meetings, and assisting with product demos in coordination with the sales and product teams. The role also involves maintaining CRM records, preparing basic proposals or pitch materials, and tracking progress against business development goals. The intern will collaborate closely with senior team members to refine messaging, understand client needs, and contribute to strategies that expand WeekMate’s customer base.

Qualifications
- Business development and sales skills, including lead generation, client outreach, and relationship-building.
- Market research and analytical skills to identify target segments and assess customer needs.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain product value clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Basic familiarity with CRM tools and productivity software to manage pipelines and track activities.
- Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage time effectively.
- Interest in SaaS, HR tech, or operational management platforms; prior internship or project experience in a related field is an advantage.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related discipline.
