Role Description The Business Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Rajkot. This position is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and expanding the company’s presence in target markets. Day-to-day activities include researching potential clients, qualifying leads, presenting service offerings, preparing proposals, and negotiating contracts in alignment with company goals. The role also involves working closely with the technical and delivery teams to translate client needs into clear requirements, ensure smooth onboarding, and support project success. The Business Development Manager will track sales performance, report on pipeline progress, and contribute to strategic plans for revenue growth and market positioning.

Qualifications

  • Strong business development, sales, and account management skills, including lead generation, opportunity qualification, and deal closure.
  • Experience in client relationship management, stakeholder engagement, and consultative selling within IT services or software solutions.
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts related to custom software, web, mobile app development, and digital branding.
  • Competence in market research, competitive analysis, and strategic planning to identify growth opportunities and relevant industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to adapt messaging to different audiences.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, including managing multiple opportunities and meeting revenue targets.
  • Proficiency with basic productivity software (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations, documents) to manage pipeline and reporting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in business development for technology services.
  • Prior experience in B2B IT services, software development, or digital solutions sales is highly beneficial.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and a commitment to ethical, inclusive, and professional conduct.
