Role Description The Business Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Raipur. This position is responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities across events, exhibitions, and magazine partnerships, while nurturing long-term relationships with clients, sponsors, and stakeholders. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting leads, preparing and delivering sales pitches, negotiating contracts, and meeting revenue targets. The role also involves collaborating with the events, marketing, and editorial teams to develop tailored proposals, support campaign planning, and ensure client requirements are clearly communicated and fulfilled. The Business Development Manager will track market trends, maintain a robust sales pipeline, and provide regular reports and forecasts to leadership, contributing to strategic growth initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Strong business development, sales, and client relationship management skills, with a focus on B2B partnerships and corporate accounts.
  • Experience in the events, exhibitions, media, or creative industries, with an understanding of sponsorships, brand activations, and partnership models.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers and close deals.
  • Proficiency in lead generation, CRM tools, and pipeline management, as well as basic data analysis for sales forecasting and reporting.
  • Ability to work on-site in Raipur, collaborate cross-functionally, and manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and customer focus, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, industry events, and exhibitions as required.
