Business Development Manager – Healthcare Staffing

Firman Solutions is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead and expand our healthcare staffing division. This role requires deep knowledge of healthcare staffing, VMS/MSP environments, credentialing compliance, and strategic business growth.

This is a leadership opportunity where your impact directly contributes to revenue expansion, operational scalability, and long-term client partnerships.


About the Role

The Healthcare BDM will play a critical role in expanding our footprint within the healthcare sector. This individual will identify new business opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, onboard new VMS/MSP programs, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver customized staffing solutions that meet client needs.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and develop new healthcare business opportunities
  • Build relationships with hospitals, clinics, physician groups, and healthcare administrators
  • Lead the onboarding and integration of new VMS/MSP partnerships to scale healthcare staffing operations
  • Manage and optimize existing VMS/MSP accounts to improve submission-to-placement ratios
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare certifications, licensing, credentialing, and regulatory standards
  • Develop partnerships through industry networking groups and healthcare associations to stay aligned with current market trends
  • Monitor healthcare staffing market conditions, rate structures, and competitor activity
  • Improve onboarding processes to increase client satisfaction and operational efficiency
  • Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals to meet or exceed revenue targets
  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline tracking and revenue forecasting
  • Collaborate with recruiting and operations teams to ensure seamless client delivery
  • Lead and mentor recruiters, stepping into recruitment activities when required


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of healthcare staffing business development experience
  • Strong experience working with and onboarding VMS/MSP programs
  • In-depth understanding of healthcare certifications, credentialing, and compliance requirements
  • Proven ability to scale healthcare staffing revenue
  • Active participation in healthcare networking groups or industry associations preferred
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and leadership skills
