gParrot Services is hiring a Business Development Manager based in India to hunt and close new IT staffing business in the US market — across Software Development, Cloud/Infrastructure, Data & Analytics, Cybersecurity, and IT Support.

About the Role This is a hunter role, not a farmer role. We need someone who thrives on cold outreach, aggressive prospecting, and closing new logos — not managing an existing book of business. You will build your own pipeline from scratch, generate leads across US IT staffing buyers, and close new clients for our IT staffing practice. This is a quota-carrying, new-business-only role built for someone who loves the chase.
Must-Have Skills
- 5+ years of business development or sales experience in US IT staffing, with a proven hunter track record
- Demonstrated success generating leads and closing new logos from cold outreach — not just managing warm accounts
- Deep understanding of US IT staffing buyers — VMS/MSP programs, direct clients, and staffing supplier ecosystems
- Strong cold calling, cold emailing, and LinkedIn outreach skills with measurable response and conversion rates
- Ability to identify and prioritize target accounts based on hiring signals, tech stack, and growth indicators
- Excellent written and verbal English — confident pitching and negotiating with US decision-makers
- Advanced proficiency with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo/Apollo, and CRM pipeline management
- Comfortable working US-aligned business hours for overlap with prospects and clients
- Self-motivated, resilient, and comfortable with high-volume outreach and rejection
What You'll Do
- Build and own a new-business pipeline from scratch across US IT staffing prospects
- Execute high-volume cold outreach — calls, emails, LinkedIn — to generate qualified leads
- Identify and prioritize target accounts using hiring signals, tech stack, and VMS/MSP presence
- Run discovery calls to qualify prospects and understand their IT staffing needs
- Pitch gParrot Services' IT staffing capabilities and negotiate terms to close new clients
- Get gParrot Services approved as a supplier on VMS/MSP programs where applicable
- Track all outreach, pipeline, and forecast activity in the CRM
- Hand off closed accounts to delivery/recruiting teams with a clear brief
- Continuously test and refine outreach messaging, sequences, and target lists
- Hit and exceed monthly/quarterly new-logo and revenue targets

Nice to Have
- Existing book of contacts among US IT staffing buyers, MSPs, or VMS program managers
- Experience getting suppliers approved on VMS platforms (Beeline, Fieldglass, or similar)
- Track record of hitting aggressive new-logo quotas in a staffing or professional services business
- Experience with outbound sales sequencing tools (Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo sequences)
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
