Role OverviewThe Business Development Manager – B2C (SLBS) will be responsible for driving individual customer acquisition, revenue growth, and brand penetration by selling Marklance’s learning solutions directly to students, parents, and working professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Drive B2C sales through leads generated via marketing, digital campaigns, and referrals
- Counsel students, parents, and learners on suitable courses and learning solutions
- Convert inbound and outbound leads into enrollments through calls, demos, and follow-ups
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets
- Maintain accurate records of leads, conversions, and interactions in CRM
- Build trust-based relationships with customers to ensure high conversion and retention
- Participate in sales events, webinars, and promotional activities
- Coordinate with marketing and product teams for feedback and improvement
- Handle objections, negotiations, and closure effectively
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- 2–6 years of experience in B2C sales / EdTech sales / Inside sales
- Strong communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills
- Target-driven mindset with a passion for sales
- Ability to understand learner needs and recommend appropriate solutions
- Comfortable with high-volume calling and follow-ups
- Experience using CRM tools
- Prior experience in EdTech, Online Courses, Test Prep, or Skill Development
- Experience handling students, parents, or working professionals
- Knowledge of sales funnels, lead management, and conversion metrics
