Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Business Development Manager located in Kochi. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and pursuing business growth opportunities, maintaining client and partner relationships and developing strategies to generate new leads.

• This is a field-oriented sales role that requires regular travel to meet with partners such as architects, designers, builders, contractors, project management consultants (PMCs), and HNI clients for both new and ongoing projects.
• Key responsibilities include achieving sales targets, with commissions linked to performance, and preparing quotations for new projects using Excel or Google Sheets.
• The Business Development Manager will work closely with the assigned showroom’s manager and staff to ensure timely submission of quotations and successful project acquisition. They may also be required to assist during project delivery.
• Travel will primarily cover the districts surrounding the assigned showroom, with weekly reporting expected at the showroom.

Qualifications

• Strong business development and sales skills
• Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and networking abilities
• Leadership, organizational, and time management skills
• Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
• Minimum 7 years of work experience in similar roles, with 3 years mandatorily in sales
• Experience in the furniture or interior design industry is an advantage
• Proficiency in Malayalam and English

Salary: Rs 50,000-70,000 per month including incentives
