Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid Business Development Manager role based in Delhi, India, with flexibility for some work-from-home days. The Business Development Manager will identify and qualify new business opportunities, build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing. The role includes researching target markets, reaching out to potential clients via calls, emails, social platforms, and events, and presenting tailored digital marketing solutions that meet client objectives. The person in this role will prepare proposals, negotiate contracts and pricing, and collaborate closely with marketing and delivery teams to ensure seamless onboarding and client satisfaction. Ongoing responsibilities include achieving revenue targets, tracking sales performance, maintaining accurate CRM records, and nurturing long-term client relationships through regular check-ins and upsell or cross-sell opportunities.
Qualifications
- Proven skills in business development, B2B sales, or account management, ideally within a digital marketing or advertising agency environment.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing solutions such as SEO, PPC, social media marketing, content marketing, and email marketing, with the ability to translate them into business value for clients.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage decision-makers and influence outcomes.
- Experience in pipeline management, lead generation, and using CRM tools to track opportunities, activities, and performance metrics.
- Ability to analyze client needs, interpret data and campaign results at a high level, and recommend strategic upsell or retention initiatives.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (MBA or equivalent business qualification is a plus).
- Prior experience in the Indian digital marketing landscape and familiarity with the Delhi/NCR business ecosystem is highly desirable.
