Job Description
Key Account Management
- Manage strategic relationships with major Automotive OEMs and Tier-1 customers, driving customer satisfaction, business growth, and long-term partnerships.
End-to-End Program Management
- Take ownership of the complete customer engagement lifecycle, including:
- Customer interactions and relationship management
- Lead generation and opportunity development
- Understanding customer technical specifications and requirements
- Coordinating with Business Units for technical feasibility and feedback
- Preparation and submission of commercial quotations
- Sample coordination and customer validation
- Driving product design-in activities through to SOP
- Ensuring successful project execution leading to revenue generation
Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across Passenger Vehicles (PV), Commercial Vehicles (CV), Electric Vehicles (EV), and the broader 4W automotive market.
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to expand the business pipeline.
Sales Planning & Strategy
- Prepare sales forecasts, business plans, and strategic initiatives to achieve long-term organizational growth, revenue, and profitability objectives.
New Product Introduction
- Support new product development and launch activities, ensuring timely execution in collaboration with cross-functional teams and customers.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Global Business Units to ensure seamless execution of customer projects from RFQ to SOP.
Drive timely resolution of technical, commercial, quality, and supply chain issues through effective cross-functional coordination, ensuring on-time project delivery and customer satisfaction
Skills & Experience
- Minimum experience in the Automotive industry, preferably with an Automotive OEM or Tier-1 supplier (mandatory).
- Strong understanding of Automotive Quality Management Systems, including IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, and related product development processes.
- Technical knowledge of Automotive BLDC Fans, Thermal Management Systems, Cold Plates, or related automotive cooling products is highly preferred.
- Proven experience in Key Account Management, Business Development, and Program Management within the automotive sector.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in pricing, quotation management, and customer negotiations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build relationships across customer and internal teams.
- Strong presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and global teams while managing multiple customer programs simultaneously.
Qualifications: Education
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering with MBA.
- 7 to 12 relevant experience required
