Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Upwork & Freelancer Bidder who can generate business through online freelancing platforms including Upwork, Freelancer, Guru, and similar marketplaces. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, experience in client handling, proposal writing, lead generation, and project acquisition.
The candidate must be capable of identifying business opportunities, understanding client requirements, preparing winning proposals, and coordinating with technical teams to ensure successful project conversion.
- Identify potential clients and projects on Upwork, Freelancer, Guru, PeoplePerHour, and other bidding platforms.
- Write customized and high-converting proposals based on client requirements.
- Generate business leads and maintain a consistent pipeline of opportunities.
- Handle client communication via chat, calls, and emails.
- Understand project requirements and coordinate with internal teams for estimations and solutions.
- Negotiate project cost, timelines, and deliverables with clients.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Achieve monthly/quarterly sales and bidding targets.
- Maintain records of proposals, follow-ups, and project status.
- Stay updated with market trends, competitor activities, and platform policies.
- 3–5 years of experience in Upwork/Freelancer bidding and IT sales.
- Strong knowledge of freelancing platforms and bidding strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Experience in proposal drafting and requirement understanding.
- Strong negotiation and client-handling skills.
- Ability to work independently and achieve targets.
- Familiarity with CRM tools, Google Sheets, and project coordination.
- Basic understanding of web, mobile app, software, AI, and digital marketing services.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field.
- Existing profile handling experience on Upwork/Freelancer.
- Proven track record of project conversions and revenue generation.
- Knowledge of LinkedIn lead generation and email outreach is a plus.
