Business Development Manager – Permanent Recruitment

About the Role

ONE75MB HRM PVT LTD is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive client acquisition for our Permanent Recruitment business. The ideal candidate should have a strong network of HR leaders, decision-makers, and business owners, with proven experience in acquiring hiring mandates and growing long-term recruitment partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Acquire new clients for Permanent Recruitment services across IT, Non-IT, Manufacturing, BFSI, Healthcare, Engineering, Retail, and other industries.
  • Generate business through cold calling, LinkedIn, email campaigns, networking, referrals, and client meetings.
  • Identify hiring opportunities and convert them into active recruitment mandates.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with HR Heads, Talent Acquisition Managers, CXOs, and business leaders.
  • Conduct client presentations and negotiate commercial terms.

Client Relationship Management

  • Understand client hiring requirements and workforce planning.
  • Ensure timely submission of quality candidate profiles through coordination with the recruitment team.
  • Conduct regular client review meetings to strengthen business relationships.
  • Resolve client concerns and ensure high service quality.

Revenue & Sales

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and provide accurate business forecasts.
  • Increase repeat business and generate referrals from existing clients.
  • Negotiate recruitment fees, payment terms, and service agreements.

Market Research

  • Track industry hiring trends and competitor activities.
  • Identify new business opportunities and emerging sectors.
  • Recommend strategies to expand the company's Permanent Recruitment portfolio.

Required Skills

  • 3–8 years of experience in Business Development within a Recruitment Consultancy or Staffing Firm.
  • Strong knowledge of Permanent Recruitment services.
  • Experience in acquiring direct clients and handling recruitment sales.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to achieve sales and revenue targets.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and lead generation tools.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes and hiring cycles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, HR, or a related field.
  • MBA (Sales/Marketing) is an added advantage.
