Business Development Executive – U.S. Government Contracting

Location: Remote

Experience: 1–3 Years

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Executive with exceptional communication skills and a strong work ethic to help acquire clients in the U.S. Government Contracting industry. This is a hands-on sales role focused on prospecting, lead generation, client outreach, and closing new business. Candidates with experience in both Business Development and U.S. Government Proposal Writing will be given strong preference, as this combination is a significant advantage for the role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and qualify leads through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn, and other outreach channels.
  • Schedule discovery meetings and convert prospects into clients.
  • Present government contracting support services, including Proposal Writing, Capture Management, Bid Support, SAM Registration, GSA Consulting, and Government Certifications.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and update CRM regularly.
  • Meet monthly client acquisition and revenue targets.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for seamless client onboarding.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Lead Generation, or Proposal Writing.
  • Experience in both Business Development and U.S. Government Proposal Writing is a major plus and will be given strong preference.
  • Excellent communication skills (A+++).
  • Outstanding work ethic (A+++).
  • Strong ability in cold calling, client outreach, and relationship building.
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable working remotely.
  • Familiarity with the U.S. Government Contracting industry is an added advantage.
