Role Description The Business Development Executive will work on-site in Chennai Tamil Nadu, India in a full-time capacity. This role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with partners, and supporting strategic collaborations with brands and organizations. The person in this position will conduct market research, generate and qualify leads, manage key accounts, and help design partnership proposals that align with Kalam’s World Records’ mission. Daily activities include outreach via calls, emails, and meetings, preparing presentations, coordinating with internal teams to execute campaigns, and tracking performance metrics for business growth. The Business Development Executive will also represent the organization in client discussions and events, ensuring a professional and engaging experience for partners.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong New Business Development and Lead Generation skills, including the ability to identify opportunities and convert prospects.
- Candidates should possess solid Business and Account Management skills to handle partner relationships and support long-term collaborations.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for client interactions, presentations, and internal coordination.
- Candidates should ideally have experience in sales, partnerships, or business development, preferably in events, media, or related industries.
- Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in basic office software, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- A relevant bachelor’s degree (e.g., Business, Marketing, Communications) or equivalent experience is preferred.
