Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Associate role based in Kozhikode. The Business Development Associate will identify and qualify potential students and institutional partners through lead generation activities such as outreach, events, and digital channels. They will conduct market research to understand local and regional trends in healthcare education, competitor offerings, and student needs, and use these insights to support enrollment strategies. The role involves delivering clear, engaging presentations to prospective learners, parents, and partners about Arown Academy’s programs and career pathways. The associate will maintain regular communication with leads, manage follow-ups through calls and messages, support admission conversions, and collaborate with the marketing and academic teams to improve campaigns and student engagement. They will also prepare basic reports on pipeline status, enrollment metrics, and feedback from the field.
Qualifications
  • Strong presentation abilities, including creating and delivering presentations to diverse audiences (Presentation Skills, Presentations).
  • Proven capability in generating and nurturing leads, with a focus on student acquisition or service-based sales (Lead Generation).
  • Experience conducting market research, analyzing trends, and translating insights into actionable recommendations (Market Research).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain programs and outcomes clearly and persuasively (Communication).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Comfort working in a target-driven environment with basic skills in using CRM tools or spreadsheets to track leads and outcomes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with students, families, and institutional partners.
  • Prior experience in education, training, counseling, or healthcare services business development is an advantage.
  • Ability to work on-site in Kozhikode, manage time effectively, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
