Role Description The Business Development Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram. This role is responsible for identifying and nurturing new business opportunities, including generating leads, qualifying prospects, and building relationships with authors, publishers, and partners. Day-to-day tasks include conducting market research, preparing and delivering presentations, coordinating with internal teams to develop tailored proposals, and maintaining accurate records of outreach and pipeline activity. The individual will collaborate closely with marketing and operations to support campaigns, follow up on inquiries, and contribute to strategies that drive revenue growth and brand visibility.
Qualifications
  • Strong presentation skills and experience creating and delivering professional presentations.
  • Proven ability in lead generation and prospecting within B2B or service-oriented environments.
  • Competence in market research, including analyzing industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
  • Comfort working in an on-site, fast-paced environment and collaborating across teams.
  • Basic understanding of sales pipelines, CRM tools, and business development processes.
  • Interest in the publishing, media, or creative industries is highly beneficial.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
